PROFESSIONAL COACHING
Making professional shifts at the moments that matter
Your Shift is a coaching consultancy supporting individuals and teams to maximise potential and performance at professional moments that matter. Those moments are during times of positive change – becoming a leader for the first time, taking on a larger role, moving to a new area of a business and many more – where the needs and demands of those changes require a shift in approach, in performance, in mindset or in expectation.
How my coaching approach achieves this for clients
As a co-active, ICF-accredited coach, I draw on a variety of tools and frameworks according to what best fits my clients’ needs. I meet my clients where they are; I don’t specify what they need or the direction they go in. That’s up to them. I support and challenge them along their way in doing so.
Build relationship and trust
I invest time getting to know each client to really understand what is important to them and why.
Challenge and support throughout
If I’ve got the first two right, providing challenge and support throughout our time will follow easily. I’ll continue to do so with energy, creativity and ensuring accountability along the way.
Agree high-level, important goals
I listen to and work with clients to focus their coaching incisively so they’ve a clear plan to work to and an idea of the challenges to cover to get there.

Got any questions? We're here to help
No, they’re very different. Mentoring is advising you based on previous experiences and knowledge whereas coaching is all about allowing space, asking questions of you and maximising awareness for you to arrive at your own conclusions. You do the work, I facilitate your thinking.
Not one bit. In fact, it’s often better that way. My job isn’t to advise you. My job is to listen, understand what’s important to you and help you navigate your way to your own solutions. Expertise in your challenges doesn’t even come into it.
You certainly can, but having someone objective to listen, challenge you and hold you to account is even better.
You’ll know by the clarity you have, the awareness you build, and the reflections you come to. Often coaching sessions themselves merely ignite the thinking, it’s what happens in the days and weeks that follow where the impact is really felt.
There are. But I’ve been trained to the highest standards, am internally accredited by the most prestigious and rigorous global body (The ICF) and have the benefit of nearly two decades leading people in diverse, dynamic businesses. I bring this experience to bear in the trust and relationships I build with my clients as well as the energy and positivity of the working environment we create together.
